Here for I have found the plugin https://github.com/alexgustafsson/homebridge-wol. Unfortunately I just can't get it set up correctly. I use the example configuration, where I have of course used the correct IP address and Mac address.

Here is the plugin - https://github.com/AlexGustafsson/homebridge-wol it has good examples in there and also the configuration is UI based so you won’t have to use JSON when you’re actually configuring it. And here is how to use HomeBridge with Docker compose - https://github.com/oznu/docker-homebridge The plugin will expose an On/Off button in HomeKit the On will execute the turn on command (it can be a WoL command or anything really) the Off works the same way - you cab do a rpc shutdown for Windows or ssh shutdown for Linux or anything else you like to execute.
