The last stage is productionizing the model. The goal of this phase is to create a system to process each image/video, gather the relevant features and inputs to the models, integrate the models into a hosting service, and relay the corresponding model predictions to downstream consumers like the MCF system. We used an existing Safety service, Content Classification Service, to implement the aforementioned system and added two specialized queues for our processing and various service integrations. To use the model for online, synchronous inference, we added it to Gazette, Reddit’s internal ML inference service. Once all the components were up and running, our final step was to run A/B tests on Reddit to understand the live impact on areas like user engagement before finalizing the entire detection system.

Elastic Beanstalk (EB) is a cloud deployment service provided by Amazon Web Services. It facilitates the deployment and scaling of web applications and services by automating the creation of individual infrastructure components, including EC2 instances, auto-scaling, ELBs, security groups, and other infrastructure components. Using the AWS Management Console and command-line interface, deployment with EB is quick and simple. Although EB automatically handles your application’s deployment, the developer retains complete control of the AWS resources that run the application and may access them at any time. This is important, and it is a top benefit of using this service.

K8s isn't going to play well with your deployment pattern without some advanced cluster management. Honestly it seems like you would be better serviced with something like https://aws.amazon.com/elasticbeanstalk/ .

I have seen some of my peers using free PaaS like Heroku, Vercel and I have no experience in using PaaS but I will recommend you to use PaaS from either of the three 1. Google Cloud's Google App Engine 2. Microsoft Azure's Azure App Service or 3. Amazon Web Service AWS Elastic BeanStalk
