Stick with uyou+ or switch to YTLitePlus?
I've been told that YTLitePlus is exactly like uyou+ but improved upon and people have been saying that uyou+ won't be updated anymore, and the last update was in April and while I wanted to wait, I've seen some users here mention the YTLitePlus and praise it and I wanted to know what's really good about it and if I should wait or switch generally.

Is there anyone on iOS who uses NextDNS together with IVPN that doesn’t get their ads blocked in the YouTube app?
uYou+- modded version of the YouTube app that blocks ads with a lot of other great features. You will need to install the IPA with a signing service like Signulous or use SideStore or Sideloadly

Never heard of that error. Try to download uYou, uYouPlus or uYouPlusExtra and sideload it. If that also doesn’t work make sure to report the issue on the GitHub repo.

I’ve seen YTLitePlus, uYouPlusExtra, YouTubeRebornPlus and while the 3 seem extremely great and effort has been put into them, I am not sure which one to choose, if any, and which ones are made by a trusted and/or safe user. uYouPlusExtra attracted my attention as it claims to be exactly like uYou+ but more up to date and with extra features (hence the name)

uYouPlusExtra get the pre rounded polymer layout on iOS
Just download the ipa from here and go to the settings, uYouPlus settings, Miscellaneous, then turn on YTNoModernUI and restart the app.

qnblackcat will no longer maintain uYou+
There is also another, lesser known, developer—arichorn—who has had a few of their tweaks implemented into several versions of uYouPlus, including this most recent update, and even made their own fork called uYouPlusExtra that adds even more tweaks, fixes and support for uYouPlus. Arichorn addressed qnblackcat’s departure here. They mention that they probably won’t take over uYouPlus development, but I imagine that they’ll still contribute to it on the side through pull requests and their uYouPlusExtra fork.
