Anybody else here use MacOS on a Thinkpad?
I also have a repository set up to compiling resources to get macOS working on an X1 Carbon 1st Gen, but as I no longer own one it's very out-of-date and incomplete so YMMV. In my experience macOS on an X1C1 was actually incredibly fast and stable, but feature-incomplete and had some sleep-related glitches.

Audio devices show up in settings, but cannot grant apps permission to use them (presumably because SIP is disabled?) How can I fix this?
Hi everyone, I recently successfully installed MacOS Catalina 10.15.7 on my Thinkpad X220 using this guide: https://github.com/faithvoid/X220-Catalina and everything has been working great so far. However, for some reason, even though the internal microphone and USB audio inputs show up in the sound menu under settings and clearly function there, I cannot grant any apps permission to use them and therefore can't use my audio devices in apps like GarageBand or Logic. Based on info I've found via Google it seems that SIP is the cause of this problem but I have no idea how to solve it. Can I turn SIP back on somehow to grant these apps permission? Or is there some other way to do it? I just want to make music with my new hackintosh, and I will be very grateful if anyone can help me make that possible. Thanks!
