Community Appreciation Post
The Perfect Works Build project, which initially started out a couple years ago, has come a massive distance. It's the game's first real retranslation, but has been instrumental in developing Xenogears Romhacking. So much has been discovered about the game in this short time, thanks to the efforts of everyone involved. I want to shoutout Rufaswan specifically, he's uploaded all the data structures here: https://github.com/rufaswan/Web2D_Games/blob/master/docs/xenogears/xeno-data.txt. I also want to shoutout Nohar for being an absolute champion, he's put so much work into the project. Edrovinhaz too has been an incredible help as well in the retranslation project. And of course, I have to thank everyone who has helped test and play the project. No matter how small your contribution seems, it's a massive help. From the readme file, it seems you need a resource ripper for 3D models. Have you tried x-gear? They ripped them in *.mesh *.skeleton *.png files. Maybe you'll better luck importing with those?
