Server name will be Ausmasters, it may take a while to show up on the list but add it to your favorites and it'll show up faster for next time. Highly recommend you download the OldUnreal 469c patch from GitHub Here for compatibility sake.

Unreal Tournament patches are still in development with official approval/support of Epic:

These patches include updates to the master server addresses which enable the game to continue working online.

Third-party master servers have also been available for at least a decade.

Well it originally also had a native Linux build. You really should upgrade to https://github.com/OldUnreal/UnrealTournamentPatches/releases/tag/v469c though, it fixes a whole batch of library compatibility issues!

isnt't there some sort of confederation as you are mentioning in fediverse now?

like you, as an instance admin/owner/mod can have your mod decisions public, there can be a public mod log, you can share block lists with other instances.

this is a pi image for pleroma, a lighter mastodon alternative server, one simply has to edit the config and boot into it. that's it.

this instance has their rules public and other instance owners can decide, often with users inputs of a remote instance should be blocked or not. others are free to accept or reject their decisions but yeah...

so you simply install it on a raspberry pi and you are good to go with your own social network. this is by far the easiest way to dip your toes into free software social networking via the fediverse.

then there are https://fediverse.party/ , which if you get started with pleromapi can be much easier to understand and you will have a good time learning about technology and stuff.
