UltraPIF is a region-free mod, that I think may also be pretty difficult to acquire and definitely difficult to install.
- My freshly imported Pikachu N64. I think I’m in love. Now to swap the cartridge piece out to make it region free! :)

Questions about region unlocking an N64
That's not entirely true. Region-locking between NTSC-U and NTSC-J is physical, but PAL games aren't compatible with NTSC consoles nor vice versa without a more complicated region mod.
