Uguu VS pomf

I will be creating some of my own maps that will be high res. and large in size. I'll upload them on an uguu.se or pomf.se clone or EasyZoom. You'll need a computer that can handle that kind of material. I may use something like https://new.tableplop.com or https://tarrasque.io/signup for maps. Again, you need to have access to a computer if it won't run on mobile (I have no idea, and that's not a concern of mine in selecting tech resources for this game), and a platform that can run these programs.

But the file itself is not private, right? You could upload it to some public file hosting site. Try this: https://uguu.se/

Also, edid file should be /sys/class/drm/card0/card0-eDP-1/edid, upload it somewhere like https://uguu.se and I can take a look to extract stock timings.

Looking at Pomf (which now seems to be Uguu), it seems to be anonymous uploads + anonymous downloads. PicoShare is private uploads + anonymous downloads, so the instance admin can upload and share files, but nobody else can upload files or view the file index.

It's strange - litterbox is not working for me anymore since this morning (testing with fresh uploads). However, I found a similar site at https://uguu.se/ and that's working A-OK.

Once you have created your patch, you can upload your patch to an anonymous filehosting service, such as Pomf.cat, Uguu.se, Catbox.moe, or (Anonfiles)[https://anonfiles.com], to name a few. Once it uploads, since it’s just a patch, I think it should be okay to publish here? (Mods, correct me if I’m wrong)

Not much of a point to that. File upload forms are pretty trivial for one, and there already are plenty of good open-source solutions for that (e.g. send or pomf). Your main challenge is going to be finding the disk space/bandwidth for that sort of thing, but anyone with enough resources can already run a zippyshare "clone" with zero issues.

Maybe a chibisafe instance? Or a pomf instance (or pomf-like clone).

You mean pomf.lain? That's just file hosting. There are hundreds of sites that use pomf, MMC subreddit seems to have chosen lain.la specifically.

Okay, I have found ChibiSafe and pomf things that might work pretty well. I will try Chibi tomorrow and will update the post.
