Uguu VS 0x0

I will be creating some of my own maps that will be high res. and large in size. I'll upload them on an uguu.se or pomf.se clone or EasyZoom. You'll need a computer that can handle that kind of material. I may use something like https://new.tableplop.com or https://tarrasque.io/signup for maps. Again, you need to have access to a computer if it won't run on mobile (I have no idea, and that's not a concern of mine in selecting tech resources for this game), and a platform that can run these programs.

But the file itself is not private, right? You could upload it to some public file hosting site. Try this: https://uguu.se/

Also, edid file should be /sys/class/drm/card0/card0-eDP-1/edid, upload it somewhere like https://uguu.se and I can take a look to extract stock timings.

Looking at Pomf (which now seems to be Uguu), it seems to be anonymous uploads + anonymous downloads. PicoShare is private uploads + anonymous downloads, so the instance admin can upload and share files, but nobody else can upload files or view the file index.

It's strange - litterbox is not working for me anymore since this morning (testing with fresh uploads). However, I found a similar site at https://uguu.se/ and that's working A-OK.

Once you have created your patch, you can upload your patch to an anonymous filehosting service, such as Pomf.cat, Uguu.se, Catbox.moe, or (Anonfiles)[https://anonfiles.com], to name a few. Once it uploads, since it’s just a patch, I think it should be okay to publish here? (Mods, correct me if I’m wrong)

Minimal file hosts like https://catbox.moe or http://0x0.st work nice in my opinion, here's an example link: https://files.catbox.moe/zamm2d.jpg

The only catch is most of them set a time limit on uploads, but you might be able to (ab)use archive.org if you want the files to stay online forever.

I dont use go$hit drive so I use 0x0.st to upload files for sharing (it uses curl).

That's really funny, because I've seen websites that tries to appeal to "hacker"/"minimalist" aesthetics doing the same thing.

An example: the file-hosting service https://0x0.st. When you try to visit a link to a non-existing file, it will crash with a trace message that exposes the offending code block from `fhost.c`.

The server is actually written in Python and it generates a randomized, fake C-looking trace message for its 404 page.
