For Android I would recommend the modified version of the app called TwitchMod https://github.com/nopbreak/TwitchMod To install a apk file you need to enable on phone a setting to allow apk install and also uninstall regular twitch app first... This one has no ads and bttv and ffz emotes! It's really good

For the plugin I would add an API to let the developer define user settings. For example look at what Xtra (https://github.com/crackededed/Xtra) offers for twitch. The most important is to be able to set a proxy to retrieve the feed in countries without ads and even bypass country geo-locks for content. Now I would probably not ship this in the official plugin, but my point is that you need to be able to expose those settings in the plugin.

For those having problems with TTV.LOL unable to play videos
Just install the newest version of xtra here. I think the newer version just disables adblocking since ttv.lol isnt working atm.
