If you're open to using a wabbajack modlist to give you a graphic and stability baseline for your modlist, Animonculory Visual Overhaul might be what you're looking for.

Highest graphical quality mod list
If you just want visuals AVO NG and Aurora are good options. If you want content and gameplay changes in addition to visuals try Elysium or Living Skyrim.

Finally getting back into slyrim
For graphics, I love AVO NG -- https://github.com/The-Animonculory/AVO. It focuses pretty exclusively on visual overhauls, though; not much in the way of gameplay changes.

I made a Wabbajack modlist for FROST: for beginners who just want to play the game.
