[HELP] Totem needs a reset every time I start my pc
Wired Totem from keeb.supply needs a reset every time I start my Win10 pc, otherwise it works as usual. it says "USB device not recognized". Tested on multiple pcs and cables. Asked on their discord but they haven't heard this problem before. Nuked and reflashed with the given files multiple times, checked again the soldering but didn't help. If it works perfectly fine after reset or connecting to an already running pc, what might be wrong? Is there a watchdog feature that sends a reset signal the moment it gets power? My repo.

Shift mapping suggestions
You just need a new keyboard π

GitHub β GEIGEIGEIST/KLOR: a 36-42 key column-staggered split keyboard
I built a TOTEM[1] (same creator) and it looks stunning. Was a breeze to get manufactured (both PCB and resin printer case from jlcpcb, in my case) and assemble too!
The build guide is very informative and quirky, it has everything from tips in how to solder smd diodes to "use a sharpie to paint the PCB sides black so it looks nicer", way better than some expensive kits I've bought in the last few years!

Can someone review my schematic and PCB?
There are some pads on the underside of the XIAO controller that we need to connect to. The footprint that I am using here has plated through-holes with edge cuts with enough space to allow you to use a soldering iron from the bottom to solder the plated through-holes to the pads. This approach was borrowed from Totem so it should work but I am worried about manufacturing issues due to the DRC failures there.

Another TOTEM...
Here you can find the PCB and case files and of course a buildguide. Here is a Hackster post covering my process. I hope it's ok to mention, that you can also buy complete kits on keeb.supply by now.

Totem with trackpad mod glamor shot
Thanks! The KiCad files are open source, you can figure out how to add a number row, I believe in you! build guide

Built a Piantor and am quite happy with the result! What do recommend next after learning better colemak typing :-) ?

Keyboard for crooked fingers?
add an extra pinky key β popularized by Jian and seen in Totem

KLOR is taking shape....
as u/Tulip2MF mentions, GEIST did the TOTEM for SEEED XIAO challenge and showed it off with a clear case and keycaps

Corne, but with a wider thumb cluster and stronger column stagger?
There are a few things that are close: * The Cantor/Piantor: more aggressive stagger and slightly changed thumb cluster. * The Swept Corne: essentially a big sweep. * The Hillside 46/48: This comes in many forms which are very similar to what you are looking for. Essentially an extra aggressive stagger (and perhaps splayed) Corne with a bigger thumb cluster.

Minimal layouts (34/36 keys) : do you keep the same rows for the pinkie ?
I've been looking at the https://github.com/beekeeb/piantor

NKRO
Particularly does the Piantor keyboard https://github.com/beekeeb/piantor supports NKRO ?

a second half stops working
I have a piantor (https://github.com/beekeeb/piantor 2x rpi pico WeAct, halves connected by a TTRS cable, vial firmware for WeAct) keyboard built by myself (I soldered somethink like 10 years ago so I'm not an expert). It worked great but now the right half started to stop working. It happens after some idle time and happened once during usage. Diode is on on the broken half even when it does not work.

DIY Carrying Case for my Piantor
A fork of the Cantor which uses a Raspberry Pi Pico microcontroller (or other RP2040-compatible microcontroller). See its GitHub page.

Please share your Piantor keyboard keymap files.
Couldn't find anywhere to download keymap files for Piantor keyboard, and don't have enough determination to start from scratch designing myself. Could you please share some of your creations? Thanks. My Piantor is a RPI0 variant, if that matters.

No it is the default case, see beekeep GitHub https://github.com/beekeeb/piantor/tree/main/case

Piantor and Leeloo
Ah yeah sorry, the piantor is not wireless (i removed the trrs cable to get them closer together). I traded off the convenience of wireless for an easier unpacking job (no need to make sure everything is charged, flip the on/off switches etc.) Not sure if someone has tried making a wireless variant. The repo is https://github.com/beekeeb/piantor
