In this case, the tool for setting a default wallpaper that users are allowed to change is desktoppr.
I want a script that would change my wallpaper to a random other one every hour or so. The first time I test it (with 5 seconds for testing), it comes up with, I kid you not, .DS_Store. Of all the files in this directory, .DS_Store. My day's going very well
