maybe SCrawler? if not, it shouldn't be too difficult to scrape with the API and a custom script.

Afaik on Facebook there are no such APIs, only good old HTML parsing, check out this project for example https://github.com/kevinzg/facebook-scraper (most of the parsing code is here https://github.com/kevinzg/facebook-scraper/blob/master/facebook_scraper/extractors.py )

Hey guys, I'm trying to scrape the comments from some selected public facebook postings. I've already tried some solutions offered on GitHub (https://github.com/kevinzg/facebook-scraper ; https://github.com/brutalsavage/facebook-post-scraper ; https://github.com/maulanaahmadarif/facebook-comment-scraper) but yet non worked out. I need the comments for my thesis and would be grateful for any suggestions. I'd also be willing to pay for a solution, if anyone could help me out. My coding (python) skills are on a lower level, so I'd appreciate suggestions that aren't that code intensive :D

I have been using kevinzg/facebook-scraper for some time, but (1) it is just a library and would require some programming work; and (2) you WILL walk into Facebook's rate limit, and nothing is downloaded for older posts (download order is from newest to oldest).

I see a lot of projects like this https://github.com/kevinzg/facebook-scraper, are they just YOLO-ing it, or is it perfectly in line with Github rules to have these types of things open and public?

I tried JDownloader, facebook-scraper, and even SnapLinks, but none of them could get the correct URLs.
