Can someone explain to a slow person what the new interval settings mean?
I really wish these options were documented somewhere, and/or the source be available in the Pigeon github repo so we can try to figure it out for ourselves until documentation is updated. Sadly, these options were added in a release that dropped a few days ago, but the Pigeon github repo has not been updated for a few months.

Developing apps/features for the MP02A
Both the feature implementation and bug fixes for Pigeon are very good ideas. If you want to have a look at the code for Pigeon its uploaded to our github page here. As you say we're a small team, but getting fixes and verifying them for Pigeon is one of our highest priorities moving forward.

Hello from the official Punkt. subreddit.
This is the official subreddit for the Swiss consumer tech company Punkt., best known for our game-changing minimalist mobile phones, particularly the MP02 4G LTE with hotspot capability.

How exactly does “Pigeon” work? Is it essentially just a replacement name for the installation of the Signal app?
By looking at the Punkt. GitHub repos, I conclude the opposite: Pigeon is a fork from signal, but stripped down. Anyone agree? https://github.com/Punkt-Tronics-AG/Pigeon

Punkt. MP02 compatibility
However, it also has to be said that since it's a fork, it's not always up to date with the main app so there is a possibility for current or future security concerns. I assume this might be the source code for the app and it would seem it's few months behind the main app which might or might not be an issue. Probably for the most part it works fine enough and is safe enough to use, but it's not the official app so there are no guarantees now or in the future. Use at your own discretion.

Building pigeon for mp02
Has anyone had any luck building the apk for pigeon and deploying it manually to their mp02? I have a first gen and it is without pigeon and I am trying to get it working but no luck.

software developers willing to develop a signal app
Signal is an open protocol, and third party clients exist. Particularly, there's a client built out for the Punkt MP02 here: https://github.com/Punkt-Tronics-AG/Pigeon

aaaaaand Pigeon is down again. Hey, Punkt. Fix your phone and communicate with us!
Now we know for sure that Pigeon is closed source since https://github.com/Punkt-Tronics-AG/Pigeon hasn't been updated in a year- even after last weeks failure of a patch.

New Pigeon update available for download
Looks like they aren't being very transparent with their source code. There hasn't been any update to their GitHub repository since September of 2021: https://github.com/Punkt-Tronics-AG/Pigeon

End-to-end encrypted messages need more than libsignal
How is twitter intending to use libsignal? I doubt it would be via the primary AGPL license[1], forcing them to publish the source code of their server source code. Does signal sell private licenses?
