PulseMusic VS VinylMusicPlayer

Dev of a good FOSS music player closed a repo, made Pulse Music proprietary and put a statement in the Telegram channel, saying:

i usually look for source code through f-droid... Like, on F-Droid, the Pulse Music repo link redirects to github project page, not gitlab, and the last commit was done 23h ago.

Huh? No one suggested Pulse Music?

You should try Vinyl Music Player from GitHub. Works best for offline files.

Another is Vinyl, which doesn't support Material You, but have a decent support of .wav music. Some users have some troubles, but Vinyl works on my phone. But, again, it doesn't support Material You.

Tbh i just use vinly as alternative player, i think no.3 which you mentioned got fixed in 2021 release and new bugs also got fixed in this release, i would suggest you to try vinyl as it recently recieved update and currently active, you can always fall back to phonograph plus if you don't like it :) Here is release changelogs
