Stars - the number of stars that a project has on GitHub. Growth - month over month growth in stars.
Activity is a relative number indicating how actively a project is being developed. Recent commits have higher weight than older ones.
For example, an activity of 9.0 indicates that a project is amongst the top 10% of the most actively developed projects that we are tracking.

Resources to deepen LLMs understanding for software engineers
this has been a great resource. approachable and great for practitioners. it's frequently updated with new papers and techniques https://www.promptingguide.ai/

Step-by-Step Guide to building an Anomaly Detector using a LLM
The idea behind prompt engineering is to construct the queries given to the language models to optimise their performance. This helps to guide them to generate the desired output by fine-tuning their response. There is a plethora of research papers out there on different forms of prompt engineering. DAIR.AI published a guide on prompt engineering that you might find useful to get started.

Getting Started with Prompt Engineering
Let's try to understand what is Prompt Engineering is all about. Here's the quote from Prompt Engineering Guide. DAIR-AI

Microsoft/promptbase: All things prompt engineering
I found this resource [0] handy for getting a grasp on all the different terms people use (zero/one-shot, tree of thoughts, RAG, etc). It's not super detailed, but was enough for me (a professional developer) to get started on some side projects with Mistral.

You can finally play tabletop rpg's like D&D with gpt api access and an additional program
I learned about this from another reddit user. Basically you need an openai api key to get access to gpt 3.5 or gpt 4. This is not chatgpt, mind you. Then you also need the program from this site: https://github.com/LagPixelLOL/ChatGPTCLIBot

How to make it have continuity (for writers)
There are some solutions, that allow more context memory, compared to basic 8k tokens for GPT3.5 and 32k tokens for GPT4. If you're into programming, check out - https://github.com/LagPixelLOL/ChatGPTCLIBot. I would also recommend trying OpenAI playground, which can be tweaked more than original ChatGPT.

What is currently the best project for having long-term memory for ChatGPT(4)?
I searched around and there seems to be some projects, like this one: https://github.com/LagPixelLOL/ChatGPTCLIBot which was great for a while, it did store everything into a json file, but once the adventure goes, say, past four days, the retrieval of the quest from said json file doesn't include all its contents but cuts short at somewhere after the beginning. This one uses the embeddings in some way I'm not sure how. A valiant effort but not flawless.

Unpopular opinion: I do data science, I read about AI since 1998, love the subject, I exercise ML on a daily basis for a living BUT the AGI hype now is not justified. Detailed answers to our questions, fixing code and generative algos are not conscious.
It is 100% possible to add specific memories to an LLM, I do it all the time with: https://github.com/LagPixelLOL/ChatGPTCLIBot

I think those saying AI won’t take their jobs are missing something really important.

[N] ChatGPT plugins
Here's a standalone product which is a chatbot with a memory. But look at LangChain for several ways to implement the same thing.
What are some alternatives?
