I think if you block 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4 in your router, the Chromecast will be forced to fallback on your router's DNS which you can set up to be pihole. You can set up CastBlock in docker to handle sponsorblock for chromecast

If you use a chromecast, look in to castblock as well, it skips sponsors on your chromecasts.
