PoB-Item-Tester VS poe-timeless-jewel-multitool

It sounds like this does the same as https://github.com/VolatilePulse/PoB-Item-Tester but within PoB and is nicely automated?

I thought most people who use 3rd party tools for PoE were already using this https://github.com/VolatilePulse/PoB-Item-Tester script which does the same thing and has existed for over 4 years.

You can also use POB Item Tester with Xanthic's web service to spit out automatic weighted DPS searches for your build based on a PoB. This is generally very useful for jewels that have a ton of different specific mods, but you can also use it for other gear.

For gear I usually just choose a couple of key uniques, and then just fill it out with life+res gear and then use https://github.com/VolatilePulse/PoB-Item-Tester to generate trade searches within my budget

Pick a spell you like (or any other skill that primarily scales of gem levels) and take some time to learn how to use PoeItemTester, if you're using a spell it can really help bridge the gap between the wand you found in a T2 map and the wands people are crafting for 30ex.

I'd love to see a more fleshed out tool native to pob, though there is similar in pob item tester's weighted sum dps search tool.

Yes , checking each jewel manually sounds crazy. But even before the community figured out the algorithm (people were building whole ass databases by checking every jewel slot manually for a seed)[https://github.com/johanmodin/poe-timeless-jewel-multitool]. As a rule of thumb in Poe, the more mind bogglingly boring a task is, the more help you can provide for other players, or the more money you can make doing it.

There was such a site briefly at the Historic Bazaar discord server. We had plans to integrate my jewel checking tool so that all jewels recorded would get automatically uploaded. However, in the end, it didn't really seem like a worthwhile time investment as legion ended and jewels became rarer.

What databases do you know of? I've tried looking for them, but haven't found anything really reliable (the closest I've found is this JSON file)
