Maybe try playing the Eternities Map? That way they could have some influence over where they end up.

Does anyone actually care about planechase
For anyone interested, there is an Eternities Map PC program that lets you play Planechase without needing the cards. It's pretty customizable and seems like it would be a lot of fun in a commander game.
