Try this: 1. Delete NHM completely again, then install it again. This time use ZIP version https://github.com/nicehash/NiceHashMiner/releases/ 2. Tripple check that antivirus is not blocking anything mining related 3. Check what miner plugins are installed. Try installing new plugins and use them for mining. 4. Make sure that no scheduled timeslots are created in the Settings>Scheduler.

This is not mentioned anywhere on the github, and since ZelHash is one of the most profitable coins to mine, I don't recommend to install the new (beta) version. So I guess it is just a bug.

Yep, NH removed the pill on the last 2 NHM releases, they have an 'optimal' auto setting in the settings to replace it........... it doesn't work, I did a post about this exact same issue 3 weeks ago, I'm now running an older version of NHM with no issues, here's a link for older versions: https://github.com/nicehash/NiceHashMiner/releases

3) Corrupt installation - Delete ALL nicehash installs, Reboot , and Re-install New; see for the newest version of QM.

As a beginner, you can try out Nicehash. You will earn a few percent less, but you can start in a few minutes and they have a tool that doesn't require making any configs.

I've struggled to get "Memory Custom Timings" in OCTune in NHQM (v0.6.0.1) to work on 1080s to replicate the Ethlargementpill. Per https://github.com/nicehash/NiceHashQuickMiner/wiki/Memory-timings, I tried entering "FAW=16","RRD=4" in the Memory Custom Timings "Set custom" box and then "Apply to All". No matter what I did, nothing seemed to happen, and the 1080s kept mining at ~22mhs.
