What do you think about the new update?
You can install Nickel Clock. It gives you a clock on one corner and battery percentage in the other while reading. Here is the GitHub link.
- This is my first foray into side loaded fonts and I’ve gotta say…I can definitely see why Garamond is the Santiago’s font of choice.

In detail personal experience and review between Kobo Libra 2 and Paperwhite 5
I don't have those exact models, but I do have a Kobo Forma (model N782) and also a Kindle Oasis 3 (model S8IN4O). They both have physical buttons, which is nice. I prefer the Kobo since it has ePub support and a nice case. However, the Kobo does have one software deficiency: the clock is not visible while reading, you have to press at the top of the screen to see it. (This is a well-known issue, there are some third-party solutions.)

View Battery status on Clara se
This works very well and pretty simple to set up : https://github.com/shermp/NickelClock It allows you to display the time and/or battery in any of the screen's four corners. (scroll down for instructions or reply here and I can give you a step-by-step guide if you prefer) Latest release : https://github.com/shermp/NickelClock/releases/tag/v0.3.0
