Cancel a pending transaction
Hardware wallet? https://mycrypto.com will let you retransmit a new transaction with the same nonce. Did it yesterday during the Binance SEC sell-off frenzy.

Firmware Outdated & Key Phrase Lost, Locked Out
Have you tried any deprecated MyEtherWallet versions or perhaps MyCrypto - or any other Ethereum wallets that can have Ledgers connect via hardware wallet? Taho (formerly TallyHo) might be a decent option worth trying as well?

Is MyEtherWallet still safe/reliable?
Several years ago the core developers of MyEtherWallet split up their team. One part kept on developing MyEtherWallet and the other part was called MyCrypto, which is maintained up to this day: https://github.com/MyCryptoHQ/MyCrypto

XDC to Ledger Nano S
You should be able to manage your XDC using your Ledger as a hardware wallet in conjunction with a 3rd party wallet such as MyCrypto.

Compromised wallet?
this is bad. Yes your wallet is forever compromised. You have to take your funds out ASAP. But read this before: https://blog.mycrypto.com/how-to-beat-an-ethereum-based-sweeper-and-recover-your-assets if ever you have that on your MM wallet. I would suggest you get in contact with the support of https://mycrypto.com/ they're a doing good work. Contact them. Metamask support normally isn't that helpful, but can be a way, too. Normally for compromised wallets they'll send you elsewhere, so you can ask them for direction.

Unconfirmed transaction
Alternatively, you could connect your Trezor to software like MyCrypto (https://mycrypto.com/). From there, you can broadcast a transaction with the following properties:

you can also write your own key generator using web3.py (https://github.com/ethereum/web3.py, see this part of the docs https://web3py.readthedocs.io/en/latest/web3.eth.account.html#creating-a-private-key)

MAIAN Smart Contract auditing
I understand from literally the only other thread about this on the internet (https://github.com/ethereum/web3.py/issues/879) that web3 removed 'KeepAliveRPCProvider' from newer versions. Is there a fix for this or is this tool obsolete now?

After heavy consideration and research I’ve decided not to spend a bunch of money on a bootcamp. So where to start?
There's also Github where many people have posted open source projects such as this: https://github.com/ethereum/web3.py
- Showcase Your Open Source Contributions Using Gource.
- Decode uint256 to (uint112, uint112, uint32) python
-
Uniquely identify transaction in BSC?
Basically I’m trying to do what nueverest is trying to do here: https://github.com/ethereum/web3.py/issues/685

for a beginner
True but there is a decent amount of support for Python when it comes to Web3 (Web3.py for example). Plus, Python is a great starting language anyway

A very confused guy needs an advice on how to start
Another thing you might consider is web3.py. It might not be as useful as javascript libraries (web3/ethers), depending on what you plan to build, but the concepts are all the same and, again, you can leverage existing python knowledge.
