I know you have'nt asked me, but maybe my auditional input on this topic is also helpful: With NixOS I find myself looking into the packages on a very regular basis! You can find the links within the search.nixos.org site. The modules are well documented and list all the options available. In case you are interested in a working flakes configuration: you can find mine as an example on GitHub. I'm allready using flakes it for a few months and I love it! The configs are pretty much self explanatory. I also use krops for deploying to multible systems. I've linked some helpful ressources I've used to get into NixoS within my README. https://github.com/mayniklas/nixos

Signing EFI image in guix?
Is it possible to sign EFI image myself, so guix can boot with secure boot enabled? In nixos I can sign EFI image with key that I generated myself and make it boot with secure boot enabled with this code that I found on this PR, maybe somebody managed to make guix to automatically sign the EFI in their system and want to share their code?
- People who use nix flakes for their system config, what do you do about the flake.lock?

[Noob question] NixOS + Home Manager
The way I manage my bspwmrc/sxhkdrc is to use environment.etc."filename".source then set windowManager.bspwm.configFile = "/etc/bspwmrc". here is my bspwm.nix, I'm not sharing this with any kind of authority or exclamation of it's quality, it's just what I've hacked together so far in the last week of trying to switch to NixOS.

How do I make Grub remember the last accessed boot entry
So I wasted several hours today trying to get this to work, the best I could come up with is this: grub-savedefault.nix.
