A few months ago, I wrote an AppleScript (https://github.com/BitRancher/notebook-export-manager) to manage the export of notebooks to ENEX and HTML formats. My plan is to export everything in both formats and to import (via ENEX) into Notes only those notebooks that I use on a regular basis. The remainder will be accessible in HTML (and ENEX) on my local drive, in case I need ever them.
