I am in need of serious help
I recently received a mod-t printer from a friend and have been trying to make this thing work for hours now. People constantly tell me to go to this github page and download all. Apparently the new matter printer utility software is in there somewhere but I have 0 clue where it is. I have downloaded the latest cura, I have clicked "download all", how do I get this thing to print? I mean I have not seen a pop-up or anything, I have plugged in the usb cable to my computer. Can anyone walk me through the setup process of this from square one?

I have been messing around with a mod-t and got it to work almost perfectly with newer versions of cura. My only problem is the stringy ness of each line it draws when its supposed to be a smooth surface. I changed the flow rate to 150% but there are gaps on each line still. Any solutions?
If you have anything to add to this let me know I'll put it up on there, sorta my collection of everything mod-t I've ever found https://github.com/tripflex/MOD-t

Anyone use PrusaSlicer?
I noticed that the tripflex repo had a Slic3r set of configurations so I imported them into PrusaSlicer. It was an easy import but it looks like some of the parameters have either changed function or parameter scale over time so I'm working on tweaking it a bit.

Hot end
A new printer is obviously better but to keep a old printer alive try following this guide. https://github.com/mattcrichards/modthotend/ I followed it and it has helped keep the printer alive for basic prints and use my ender for complex/important prints.

- If I change the tip for this one, will the printer at the time of calibrating it with the new height?

I've designed and 3d printed a 55 gram G Pro Wireless clone with USB-C charging
I do own a 3d printer. It's a New Matter MOD-t (not much, I know) with a custom hot end (described here). Currently printing with Spidermaker PLA. I'm no pro, but I've managed some decent prints. I also have background in custom mechanical keyboards, so I'm comfortable soldering and working with basic electronics.
