Stars - the number of stars that a project has on GitHub. Growth - month over month growth in stars.
Activity is a relative number indicating how actively a project is being developed. Recent commits have higher weight than older ones.
For example, an activity of 9.0 indicates that a project is amongst the top 10% of the most actively developed projects that we are tracking.

Do other Developers/Engineers really practice coding questions everyday?
Took me about 3 weeks to complete https://neetcode.io/ and then I did https://github.com/Verse1/LeetGrokk to learn patterns that aren't on the neetcode site. After that, medium problems are much easier to solve. Starting off, I would recommend spending no more than 20 mins trying to solve a problem yourself. Maybe less than that. Look at neetcode's video for the solutions and a few top solutions in the discussion to see how others solve it. Once you get the hang of it, you can challenge yourself by practicing to solve mediums within 30 mins for interviews. I spend around 3-5 hours a day doing lc after work but if you have more time, 1-2 problems a day is better than nothing. It's also important to revisit problems you've done before so I create flash cards with Anki for every problems and review them in my spare time. Yeah, it's tough but if you have the grit to be decent at LC (anyone can with enough practice), then most coding interviews are no problem. Though, some luck is involved too. I think that's why coding challenges are a popular way to interview. If someone can go through crapton of LC, they can definitely be a decent engineer.
