Does this mean what I think it means? 🐹🐹🆙🫏
Have you looked to change the ui to get it more in line with og bg2 ? I recommand you this mod wich is pretty basic to install and will make citizens of Athkatla jealous.
- I just picked up BG1EE, replacing the old version. Did I make a mistake?

I want to mod BGEE 1 and 2 v1.3
I'd really consider moving to 2.5/2.6 and throwing lefreuiUI - https://www.gibberlings3.net/forums/topic/30827-ui-lefreuts-enhanced-ui-bgee-sod-bg2ee-and-eet/ - to the mix because it comes fairly close to 1.3 IMO.

Return to Original UI Color on BG2 Enhanced Edition console?
You can install [LeUI](https://www.gibberlings3.net/forums/topic/30827-ui-lefreuts-enhanced-ui-bgee-sod-bg2ee-and-eet/) with the SoD skin (the vanilla BGEE skin is blue). It'll have some different functionalities due to being a custom UI but it feels mostly close to the original.

some people tell me this game is not suitable for below 7 inch phone, but i play in 6,2 inch and there's no problem or maybe my hand is small lol
Just in case anyone is still hesitant to get this due to the UI being too small, there is a mod for it that makes the UI easier to use and more readable at. Here's the link: https://www.gibberlings3.net/forums/topic/30827-ui-lefreuts-enhanced-ui-bgee-sod-bg2ee-and-eet/

Guys... what is this travesty?
That mod has a few features which certainly look refreshing, but that autoroller and some other things are a bit too much for me. If one wants to give a subtle but noticeable improvement to the UI, I recommend Lefreut's UI mod.

Hyped for bg3, thought I would try the first one. Any tips for an absolute noob? I've never played any game like bg1 besides fallout one and I didn't get very far. Any help is greatly appreciated!
there are some really good mods you can use https://github.com/EE-Mod-Setup/EE-Mod-Setup to set them up easier. you don't need them for a first run through or anything but some like the NPC banter packs might be nice to have

The set up tool I've been using for a couple of years now is this one: https://github.com/EE-Mod-Setup/EE-Mod-Setup
- EET mod list

Project Infinity is unusable.
You can use https://github.com/EE-Mod-Setup/EE-Mod-Setup instead.
-
problems with Mod order and mod conflicts
You don't need biffing for EE. You can use a mod manager https://github.com/EE-Mod-Setup/EE-Mod-Setup. It's EET for EE games, not BGT.
- Baldur's Gate trilogy run with lots of modifications
- Normal editions or Enchanced and what mods

Mods for Baldur's Gate 2 Enhanced edition
https://baldursextendedworld.com/Install-Tool/ is a mod installer with quite an extensive collection of mods integrated.
What are some alternatives?
Tweaks-Anthology - The Tweaks Anthology is a WeiDU compilation of nearly 200 components of cosmetic changes, house rules, and other tweaks. Some of these were fan requests, others are needed changes, and others simply make dealing with the more irritating aspects of the game engine easier. Each component can be installed separately so the player can pick and choose only which ones they wish to install.
ProjectInfinity - Project Infinity - a mod manager for Baldur's Gate Enhanced Edition, Icewind Dale Enhanced Edition, Planescape Torment Enhanced Edition and Enhanced Edition Trilogy (EET).
EET - Baldur's Gate: Enhanced Edition Trilogy (EET) is a modification for Baldur's Gate II: Enhanced Edition that merges whole saga into one game and provides continuity between the events of Baldur's Gate, Tales of the Sword Coast, Shadows of Amn, Throne of Bhaal and Siege of Dragonspear expansion (also for both Black Pits adventures). The name of this this modification probably rings a bell to those who have been following IE modding scene, thanks to the classic mod that inspired this project, called Baldur's Gate Trilogy (BGT), developed by Bardez and Ascension64. While EET remains mostly faithful to the premise of the BGT, it shouldn't be considered a direct continuation of that project. In fact both mods share little to no common code and took different design decisions in many aspects.
Solaufein - Weimer's classic mod changes Solaufein into a joinable NPC for BG2EE and ToB. Revised EE version.
NTotSC - Several major quests, new areas, spells, and items are all part of this Baldur's Gate mod.
SwordCoastStratagems - Sword Coast Stratagems (SCS) adds over 130 optional components to Baldur's Gate: Enhanced Edition, Baldur's Gate II: Enhanced Edition, Baldur's Gate II: Throne of Bhaal, Baldur's Gate Trilogy, mostly focused around improving monster AI and encounter difficulties, but also including cosmetic and ease-of-use components, tweaks to abilities or spells.
