Having trouble installing Lefreut's enhanced UI
I've downloaded the mod from Github and tried both copy/pasting all of the extracted files into my BG1 folder and extracting the files directly into the game folder. However, when I run the Setup-LeUI-BG1EE application, I get an error in the console that reads

Having trouble installing Lefreut's enhanced UI
Did I get my mod install order wrong? Before installing the UI mod, I installed DLC Merger (which I thought was advisable to do first since modding BG1 EE without it will mess things up due to SoD files being in other folders without it). After that, I did Portraits, Portraits Everywhere, Rogue Rebalancing, and Tweaks Anthology. Next step was going to be Bubb's Spell menu and then wrapping up with SCS (though I would like to install Classic Movies, the NPC Project, and Unfinished Business, I couldn't find good information about mod compatibility and install order with all of these).
- Mod that restores original cinematics?
- I like the original Baldur's Gate over the Enhanced Edition.
- I tried the cutscenes mod to restore original cutscenes for BG EE and it screws up the movie list.

Enhanced 1080p movies for BG:EE (v 0.1)
Great! I think it's possible, because there is the restored classic movies mod which says that it adds the Elfsong Tavern movie. It's on Github as well if that helps. I can file an issue to ask the author his/her opinion on the matter. I don't know if hosting the files on version control is gonna be an issue, though (Github has some size limits that i don't remember).
What are some alternatives?
SwordCoastStratagems - Sword Coast Stratagems (SCS) adds over 130 optional components to Baldur's Gate: Enhanced Edition, Baldur's Gate II: Enhanced Edition, Baldur's Gate II: Throne of Bhaal, Baldur's Gate Trilogy, mostly focused around improving monster AI and encounter difficulties, but also including cosmetic and ease-of-use components, tweaks to abilities or spells.
A7-DlcMerger - This mod allows you to merge DLC archives into Enhanced Edition games.
EET - Baldur's Gate: Enhanced Edition Trilogy (EET) is a modification for Baldur's Gate II: Enhanced Edition that merges whole saga into one game and provides continuity between the events of Baldur's Gate, Tales of the Sword Coast, Shadows of Amn, Throne of Bhaal and Siege of Dragonspear expansion (also for both Black Pits adventures). The name of this this modification probably rings a bell to those who have been following IE modding scene, thanks to the classic mod that inspired this project, called Baldur's Gate Trilogy (BGT), developed by Bardez and Ascension64. While EET remains mostly faithful to the premise of the BGT, it shouldn't be considered a direct continuation of that project. In fact both mods share little to no common code and took different design decisions in many aspects.
BG1NPC - The BG1 NPC Project adds a great deal of content by expanding the depth of character and levels of interaction with the NPCs from the Baldur's Gate game. Requires Tutu, BGT, or BGEE.
