The number of mentions indicates the total number of mentions that we've tracked plus the number of user suggested alternatives.
Stars - the number of stars that a project has on GitHub. Growth - month over month growth in stars.
Activity is a relative number indicating how actively a project is being developed. Recent commits have higher weight than older ones.
For example, an activity of 9.0 indicates that a project is amongst the top 10% of the most actively developed projects that we are tracking.

corexz homing fails at z
I'm just starting the wiring on a little corexz but it is small (180mm^3) so I'm planning to use bed_screws_adjust with no probe. As long as your motors are all moving correctly then it is either a probe issue or possibly you didn't correctly define the print volume/build space? (bed size)??

Switchwire reliability for lots of print time?
I'm about halfway through a kp3s 'halfwire' build/mod and wondering about reliability of switchwire (and halfwire) printers. I started the project for fun thinking it would be a second, third, fourth printer in the lineup but my normal go-to printer for quick parts is starting to die. It's a little 150x150 cantilever bed slinger that prints a little more than one spool of pla+ per week.

STEP files with multiple solids? Possible to separate them?
I honestly just discovered this yesterday after wanting to take a closer look at a 3d printer design on github. The guy posted a 55mb monster step file. I opened it in Assembly 3, found what I wanted and just started deleting the rest. That's when I discovered the real depth of what is possible with Assembly 3. The guy's file has many parts and revisions that were not visible and hundreds of parts, like a whole library built into the step file. If you're stuck behind Windows get the linux subsystem running just to try it out. I've tried the different assembly workbenches but struggled to figure out the workflow effectively. Seeing the whole thing backwards after importing a file is much more clear. There is a special A3 import button that you use. This was the file I used: https://github.com/jomettler/KP3s-coreXZ/blob/main/CAD/KP3s_CoreXZ.step

- Where can I find free G-code files for 5-axis 3D printing?
- This is a 3D printed 5-axis generatively designed 3D printer. It's the first generation of a machine that can in theory both design and make itself. I'm very happy to share it and hope you find it as interesting as I do!

Switchwire reliability for lots of print time?
I randomly found it and I've done some work with subtractive/cnc so I thought a corexz printer would be really cool to run with a round-rotary bed... (like Open-5x or the inspiration for this kp3s halfwire build: ArmChairEngineering's P-REXZ printer.
