The number of mentions indicates the total number of mentions that we've tracked plus the number of user suggested alternatives.
Stars - the number of stars that a project has on GitHub. Growth - month over month growth in stars.
Activity is a relative number indicating how actively a project is being developed. Recent commits have higher weight than older ones.
For example, an activity of 9.0 indicates that a project is amongst the top 10% of the most actively developed projects that we are tracking.

Loom proliferation
I think you are oversimplifying and ignoring some important aspects. The first aspect you are ignoring is Thread locality. The second aspect you are ignoring is the need for concurrency. We can agree to disagree. I think until virtual threads provide a mechanism for grouping a set of virtual threads to a single OS thread, they won't be able to provide the same performance. If things were as simple as you described; Netty wouldn't be outperforming other thread-per-request service frameworks. Why do you think Netty outperforms all other options here https://github.com/smallnest/Jax-RS-Performance-Comparison

Is there any example of a recent dropwizard application?
I'm trying to set up a simple RESTful API with dropwizard that does some basic CRUD with a postgresql database. I've managed to get some endpoints working with dummy responses following the documentation, but I am now quite stuck when it comes to implementing the database functionality. The page about JDBI3 doesn't really help because the example usage doesn't match with the example app in the repository, where the code looks quite different and with no recent commits. It seems to assume prior knowledge of all of these libraries (which I don't have).
