Any good roms manager for Mac?
So far the best ones are clrmamepro and romvault, which don't have native mac port, but work well under wine, besides that, you can give a try to JRomManager: https://github.com/optyfr/JRomManager/releases

New to rom managers but why does ClrMAMEPro report no issues and RomCenter shows LOTS of issues (see image in post)?
I don't use RomCenter anymore, but if I remember correctly you'll see defaults when creating a new database. May I also suggest you JRomManager to audit your romset?

I wish there was an *arr app for ROMs.
It might also be worth looking at ROMSorter. TBH I don't know whether it will do anything useful because I have not used it.

What software is available to check a ROM's hash against a DAT o MATIC file?
ROMSorter is one of those apps. I wrote it. You want the "Rename Single File Games" button after picking your folder and dat file.
