I need help setting up Iris
you are missing a compatible sodium version! sodium is not compatible per default, but there is a fork that enables compatibility. you can find it here. the building process should be the same as last time. then replace the current sodium jar with the freshly compiled one.

Sodium with shaders!
I have tinkered around Iris for some time, but I couldn't compile the compatible fork of sodium . I have seen your comment about having to compile the code of Iris using JDK 8 , but I could compile it with JDK 15 but not the sodium fork. How did you manage to do it? Thanks in advance!

Lightweight/Vanilla looking shaders for Iris Shaders 1.17.1?
In order to get customization options to work with Iris (they're not in the main version yet), you'll need the Starline branch version of Iris and Sodium.

You need their own version of both Iris and sodium, though. Download their sodium fork here: https://github.com/HyperCubeMC/sodium-fabric/actions
