GDPR / DSGVO Cookie Consent 2022
When building a website in Europe one has to follow a few specific laws. You have to be able to accept and decline cookies separately (opt-in requirement for advertising and marketing cookies). Until now I was mostly using plugins and addons for CMS like WordPress to solve this. How do you solve this with svelte? I found this package on Github but it doesn't seem to work properly. This site seems to use the package but it doesn't work properly. You can only press Cookie Settings and Accept Cookies. After clicking on Cookie Settings you can only click on Close Settings. It doesn't say which cookies you accept. Do you use something else? I have seen there are solutions like Cookiebot but I don't know how they exactly work and how good they are. I'd prefer a simple package that is easy to configure and easy to style.
