We definitely need lavender
There was a lot of scattered information out there. I put everything together into one package that's now maintained by someone who's more interested in it and more connected to the MaizePlus community at https://github.com/sashaman/HorseExtension. It's not a detailed tutorial in a lot of ways, more the fastest route to shoving everything into a map without MaizePlus crops. Picking it apart can teach you a lot about what's involved with adding a new crop, putting it in the map's foliage definition, adding textures (fields/tipping/piping/harvesting/etc), HUD icons, new bale definitions and textures (this will change significantly in FS22 with all the new bale types), and all the admin details with price, seed usage, precision farming data and so on.

If it's a Fruit Destruction glitch, then you can copy an updated version of the script over the version that's somewhere in the map's zipfile as a patch.

You might want to look at the l10n stuff from the DIY HorseExtension project. It should have all the l10n entries relevant to Chellington as an example. Not sure whether Chellington does its l10n in the modDesc.xml or separate files (if it's separate files, you'll be able to copy entries from the HorseExtension versions to those, otherwise you'll have to do some extra work).

yeah, that's simple IC. I could be wrong, but I don't think it's on the modhub. You can get it from github https://github.com/modelleicher/FS19_simpleIC. You'll need the zip from there, and then tractor mods designed to use it.
