I'm on an alienware m15 r1 and I used https://dortania.github.io/OpenCore-Install-Guide/prerequisites.html and it worked perfectly. Make sure you start from the beginning (No clover files, only the ones in Opencore's guide) and follow the steps right.

Yeah, that's the solution I came across as well. I don't really care about later macOS versions, Monterey is good enough. I'll give it a shot and update the OP.

OC. Use this repo, https://github.com/EETagent/T480-OpenCore-Hackintosh just copy everything as it is to the usb then add your macOS recovery images you downloaded.
