I love Open-Source, but don't know how to understand it.
I must confess I have a bit of an addiction to CMake even though its syntax is awful. Don't despair, OP! Take care and read the docs thoroughly and you will be fine! (I've also built a template you might be interested in, although admittedly it is far more complicated for its own good, especially for any beginner projects, I even find it's often too complicated for my own header-only projects and have been meaning to reorganise a version of it for those...) https://github.com/saxbophone/CPP20-Cross-Platform-Template
What are some alternatives?
