if you still want to use a font that looks like Fira Code, you can try Fira Mono instead of Fira Code. I think Fira Code is based off of Fira Mono to begin with

Have a look at Fira. It has a hairline weight that is really thin.

I made Firefox look like Firefox Quantum in dark mode!
Fira Sans. I set my entire system font to Fira Sans because I like this font.

I started using it as a bit of a joke but I actually really liked it - visually distinct, easy to read and works well at small and larger sizes.

For the last several weeks I've been using Comic Mono in my terminal. It's a fixed width typeface based on the font that we've all been trained to despise and sneer at for almost 30 years, Comic Sans.
