The dupe involves the .rdupe, from the Family Fun Pack, which is a 2b2t utility mod that is opensource on github, I suggest building the mod for yourself if you are not 100% sure about it being a rat/virus/backdoor.

It might be those extra mods, because sodium + meteor on the latest patch works for me. You could also try an older build, this dev build 1815 works with iris, maybe 1816+ also breaks some of those other mods.

there is a ton of free. I personally prefer meteor (https://meteorclient.com) and use it on my everyday build I also remember LiquidBounce, Lambda, Salhack and Kami Blue (all for 1.12.2)
