Modding advice
Unearthed Arcana's Faiths and Powers implements the kit as a Paladin and offers in-game support to make Mazzy into a Truesword. I believe this one is available at character creation if installed.

So if I dual class Xzar into cleric, who is his patron god?
For the reasons others already mentioned, I did not want to go down that Cyric path in my palythrough with the faith and powers mod installed (https://github.com/UnearthedArcana/Faiths_and_Powers/issues/136).

Best or most fun illegal multiclasses (EEkeeper)?
I don't use EEKeeper, but write my custom multikit mod using Argent77's kit library - https://github.com/Argent77/A7-add_kit_ex. It's straightforward, way less problematic and more reliable (especially if the results are installed after all the other kitmods, so that NPC_EE's kit tomes can also pick them up).
