My latest module, Distribution::Extension::Updater aims to help you update your module and bring it into the 2020s by renaming the retired or semi-retired file extensions to the newer raku versions. .pm6 -> .rakumod, pod6 -> rakudoc, t -> rakutest, etc.

Which modules have you seen with a META.json? It has never been supported, none are listed in https://github.com/Raku/ecosystem/blob/main/META.list and fez wouldn't allow it, so I'm confused.
