there is this bot/plugin that does this https://github.com/DiscordSRV/DiscordSRV as for your concern about getting banned, it should be fine at the most you will not be able to use discord for a few hours but it is very diffuclt to reach that limit

Chuu Bot Down?
As much as I've gathered, chuu developer's account is compromised, and since it has access to the bot, that's also compromised (its token has been changed at least). There's an issue opened in chuu's github that states this: https://github.com/ishwi/Chuu/issues/64
