Activity is a relative number indicating how actively a project is being developed. Recent commits have higher weight than older ones.
For example, an activity of 9.0 indicates that a project is amongst the top 10% of the most actively developed projects that we are tracking.

Pondering Pastebin alternatives after reading many posts here
How about Paste? It's a fork of Pastebin and is multi-user with editable pastes.

Looking for a pastebin style PHP script (for use with cPanel) with random share IDs (e.g. pastewebsite.com/VdEmP)
I've gone through Awesome Self Hosted and found a script called Paste (https://github.com/jordansamuel/PASTE), but unfortunately this lacks in some areas, like being unable to turn off registrations, and the output URL is a sequential numeric ID (e.g. ?id=1) rather than a random string of characters. I also cannot set where the number starts/how many digits it should be.
What are some alternatives?
pcopy - pcopy is a temporary file host, nopaste and clipboard across machines. It can be used from the Web UI, via a CLI or without a client by using curl.
ipfs-file-encryption - This repo shows how to encrypt files prior to uploading them to IPFS. Similarly it can decrypt and download these files. The solution uses both RSA and AES encryption algorithms to achieve maximum security.
