I'm not sure of any university public job boards, but yeah the best places are like LinkedIn, and Indeed. There are also many GitHub internship lists out there like this one for Canadian students that you can use.

That's the thing, we never end up with just 20 applications today. If you end up on one of those GitHub repos (e.g.) you can expect thousands. I guarantee you FAANGs will go into hundreds of thousands. It's a monumental effort to sort these resumes, and one not possible without ATS.

keep applying - under consideration means that you've successful submitted an application and they're going to review it eventually. you should try looking at this internship list - most companies have paused hiring (for now) until the new year + this is the only list that i've found that compiles all the recently posted ones.. good luck!
