Start with online programming courses(udemy: python or javascript bootcamp) before joining a bootcamp. These should be the 40-50 hr courses. You first need to figure out whether SWE is actually for you. If after completing these courses you’re still interested, then join a bootcamp. Dont waste your time going for a bachelors. As mentioned How I manage my dev bookmarks to save time and nerves I use heavily Codever to manage my bookmarks and code snippets, so there is always a browser tab open with the website. Lately I've also been developing quite a bunch of new features on the project. Lots of testing happens in the browser, and until now there was no quick way to differentiate between the production and development version, unless I look at the URL in the browser's navigation bar of course.

On Codever you can backup your bookmarks and snippets. When backing up you are presented a dialog where you can choose to display the items in browser. For that we use a blob URL we know for sure it is safe.
