Anything I should know?
Yes, you are absolutely right that it is connected to your GPU. I think AMD still has pretty bad Windows OpenGL support (try a Linux distro with MESA like Mint if you're up for it). You could also try VulkanMod to see if it helps.

I installed Arch Linux on an old laptop
I will see about this modpack too. Sadly VulkanMod is borked in some CPUs.
