Paper/Spigot 1.19.2 - Bungeegaurd Error
Does this happen when you remove protocollib? It's possible that bungeeguard doesn't support ProtocolLib.

My server got hacked, and I'm wondering how they did it! And how to prevent it in the future.
You should setup IPWhitelist or BungeeGuard to also protect your backend (Paper/Spigot servers) but I highly suggest you use Paper on your servers and then utilizing BungeeGuard. NanoLimbo - High performance and lightweight Limbo server
This is awesome, but would it be possible to add support for Bungeeguard? A lot of admins still use Bungeecord due to certain plugins, but like having added security offered by the BungeeGuard handshake.

hello in aternos if there is a plugin that work like viaversion but downgrade the server for example the server is 1.18 but my friends cant support it I know they are other servers that have this plugin does anyone know the name I hope this makes sense
then you should use ViaBackwards in combination with ViaVersion.

I use velociity and purple 1.19 and love viaversion but those who enter with 1.18.1 cannot connect

Also, consider using one of the Paper forks that includes further performance improvements. For 1.18.2 two options are Pufferfish and Purpur. Pufferfish has a lot of optimizations, but now Purpur actually downstreams Pufferfish too so it includes all of its improvements (plus a ton of other features which are optional and turned off by default). Purpur as far as I can tell is currently the most complete Paper fork, the only downside in my opinion is that they only support the latest versions of Minecraft. Previous Purpur versions have not been patched for Log4Shell. Since you are running 1.18.2, this shouldn't be a problem, but keep this in mind for the future - if using Purpur you'll want to update soon after a new server version releases to continue getting support, or switch to another Paper fork (which shouldn't be a problem as long as you don't use any of the optional Purpur features). I personally prefer just using the latest version anyway though, and then I use ViaVersion plus ViaBackwards to support older clients.

I'm having an issue with placing blocks on my 1.18 server. They'll appear placed until I relog. My tps is consistently 20 though, and my server is only using about 25% of its RAM. Why is this happening? Not having any other kinds of lag issues.
Probably not your issue, but just because I heard of it, there's an issue with the inventory desyncing if using ViaBackwards.
What are some alternatives?
When comparing BungeeGuard and ViaBackwards you can also consider the following projects:
FastLogin - Checks if a minecraft player has a valid paid account. If so, they can skip offline authentication automatically. (premium auto login)
