    There are two separate apps which are being developed in tandem: one which is cloud-based and one which is not (the "local" version). Try searching your package manager for "boost-note local" or something similar. The package for Arch Linuxes is boost-note-local-bin (in the AUR). You can also download it here. There are details about migrating your data to the new app here.
