I followed the Dortania's opencore guide and the Autocritic guide to install MacOS Monterey on a H370-i motherboard.

Intel I225-V is problematic. Can I just disable it in the BIOS and get a separate PCIe NIC for ease of use?
I used this guide to get the I225-V adapter working on my Z490i Aorus Ultra: https://github.com/5T33Z0/Gigabyte-Z490-Vision-G-Hackintosh-OpenCore/blob/main/I225-V_FIX.md

Is Z490 worth it over Z370 if you want 'working out of the box' experience? I read the Dortania Anti-Buying guide and it seems that Z490 has many issues, from NIC to RTC vs AWAC, and even at Dortania they are not recommended. What do you think?

Ventura: Apple Logo and loading bar but black screen during load
What guide/tool followed: Mostly followed 5T33Z0's guide (https://github.com/5T33Z0/Gigabyte-Z490-Vision-G-Hackintosh-OpenCore) and partly Schmocklord's guide (https://github.com/SchmockLord/Hackintosh-Intel-i9-10900k-Gigabyte-Z490-Vision-D). Additionally, followed OpenCore 0.8.8. Dortania's guide. Using OCAT for editing the config-file.

Gigabyte z490 i9 10850k 32GB RAM Sapphire 580 Nitro+
Basically read the Open Core Guide and built and EFI Folder from scratch and checked some of the prebuilt EFIs on Github that used the _same_ hardware. I spend a full day assambling the parts and then installing MacOS Big Sur. I had some problems running the installer at first, but most of the issues were related to BIOS settings. I followed the guide of ST33Z0 and his settings worked perfectly (https://github.com/5T33Z0/Gigabyte-Z490-Vision-G-Hackintosh-OpenCore)
