PSA. Stadia is dead.
I also use Assistant Relay which lets me send commands to Google Assistant, giving me a two-way connection
- Another Wish list item... that google can learn sounds without the "Hey Google" command and broadcast, "The dishwasher is finished", "The microwave is finished", "The washing machine has finished" etc... maybe it's my age, but I do find many of the beeps communicated by devices are getting quieter!

Trigger Google Home to broadcast or play pre-recorded message via command-line event?
You can use the following application and trigger a call via REST API to Google assistant to broadcast a message. https://github.com/Apipa169/Assistant-Relay-for-Hassio

Using an old BLE outlet as a night light. Light is only controllable via the proprietary app. Here's my stupid solution.
From the Amazon Page this looks like it works with google home. If nothing else works (and you're running Homeassistant or another piece of software that can make POST requests) I would try Assistant Relay. You can just use a POST request to ask google to "Turn off the Plug Light" or something. It's a bit slow, but it's better than nothing.

Physical button to trigger a GH automation/routine?
I know some people use this with Home Assistant to send commands to Google: https://github.com/Apipa169/Assistant-Relay-for-Hassio
-
What is the automation you are most proud of?
Not OP, but I think the trigger is pressing the hue button. The response by the mini is most likely done by using the Assistant Relay addon for supervisor
- Hass or Node Red automation to trigger Google Home activity.

Integrating Home Assistant and Google Home
Add them to HA and remove them from Google / unlink the 3rd party integrations from Google is the long term move, if you're still unsure on HA then you can use Google relay (https://github.com/Apipa169/Assistant-Relay-for-Hassio)
- Trigger Google Assistant/Home from HA

My wife said she could never tell if I was on a call in our home office.
Using Hass Workstation on my desktop and laptop
-
Connect Amazon to Microsoft Teams
I use Hass Workstation Service to do that. I configured it to detect when the mic and/or webcam were being used and automate certain actions from Home Assistant
-
what automation that you did that make your life easy
I'm using hass workstation service. The last release included my PR to make a sensor showing what programs are using your microphone. It's now deprecated, but still the only windows program that says WHAT is using the microphone. So my automation runs when that sensor string includes "Teams.exe" or "zoom.exe"

PSA. Stadia is dead.
I run HASS Workstation Service on my computer to upload data about my computer's sensors to Home Assistant. When I turn on my computer microphone, the IKEA switch connected to my desk fan turns off automatically
-
Windows 11 notifications to Node-RED
I'm using Hass Workstation Service to achieve this: https://github.com/sleevezipper/hass-workstation-service
-
“On a call” light
I use the HASS workstation service (https://github.com/sleevezipper/hass-workstation-service) for this - it publishes various state entities to HA and I use that to drive the state of a coloured light. I use mic on, video on as the primary drivers for orange or red light, and then time for other colours.

[OC] I designed and printed an "on-air" zoom sign and attached a window/door sensor to my green screen to activate the smart plug powering it. :D
For Home Assistent there is a great software that transmits your PCs microphone and webcam status to HA - https://github.com/sleevezipper/hass-workstation-service

Busy sign automation for my home office
For the automation I use HA with node-red and HASS Workstation Service to detect when mic and webcam are active. When mic only is active, the green light turns on, when the webcam is active it turns red (thanks to u/plasticarmyman for the idea).
-
Add Teams status feature to my homebrew sconces! (More detail in comments)
I do something similar but using HASS Workstation Service. I detect when the mic is active (which 99% of the times happens when I'm on a meeting) and then change some lights.

Do Not Disturb LED Automation with Microsoft Teams (Home Office Edition)
No link to original content anymore.. But you can do a bit similar setup with Hass workstation service. https://github.com/sleevezipper/hass-workstation-service If mic or webcam is in use then light goes red. Doesn't take any other statuses, but works for meetings quite fine.
